Galvanized steel structures for warehouse shipped to Australia

Canglong Group recently completed all steel structure production for a modern warehouse and logistics center project for an Australian client. Containers loaded with Q355H steel and supporting galvanized steel components have departed from the Canglong production base. They will be shipped to Australia by sea and are expected to arrive at the project site within four weeks, injecting the core strength of “Made in China” into the construction of this high-standard modern warehouse.

For this collaboration, Canglong Group tailored a solution based on the specific needs of the Australian warehouse and logistics project, utilizing Q355H steel as the core framework and galvanized steel as the external enclosure. Q355H steel, the primary load-bearing structure, boasts high strength (yield strength ≥ 355 MPa), lightweight construction, and excellent weldability, making it perfectly suited to the warehouse’s wide spans and high load requirements. Both the dense load-bearing racking area and the wind and seismic resistance of the roof beams and columns have been rigorously verified to the Australian AS/NZS 4600 steel structure standard, ensuring structural safety and durability throughout its lifecycle.

Notably, all steel components in the project were hot-dip galvanized. The zinc layer thickness was strictly controlled at 270-300g/㎡ (far exceeding the industry standard of 200g/㎡). Combined with Canglong’s proprietary integrated galvanizing, forming, and protective process, the steel effectively resists salt spray erosion and oxidative corrosion in the high humidity and strong UV rays of the Australian coastal environment. This significantly extends the service life of the steel structure to over 50 years, eliminating the worry of ongoing maintenance for customers.

From raw material procurement to finished product delivery, Canglong Group implements a dual-control system of 6S lean production and AI-powered quality inspection. The uncoiling, rolling, straightening, and cutting processes of Q355H steel are all performed using CNC equipment imported from Germany, maintaining tolerances within ±0.3mm. A Swiss-imported zinc bath control system is used in the galvanizing process to ensure both uniformity and adhesion of the coating.

This shipment marks a further upgrade of Canglong Group’s service capabilities in the Australian market. From pre-project technical consultation and customized design, to mid-stage efficient production and rigorous quality inspection, and finally to post-project logistics support, Canglong leveraged the dual advantages of Chinese speed and international standards to shorten the client’s material preparation cycle by at least 30%, laying a solid foundation for the early completion of the warehouse project.

As the Australian project manager stated, “Canglong not only provided high-quality steel that meets international standards, but also offered customized, precise delivery services. This demonstrated the professionalism and reliability of China’s manufacturing industry. Choosing Canglong reflects our confidence in both the quality and progress of the project.” With the successful launch of this batch of steel components, Canglong Group is taking concrete action to inject the powerful momentum of “Made in China” into global infrastructure development.
