Construction of the 4,000 sq ft pre manufactured steel warehouse in the USA
Canglong Group recently customized a 4,000 square foot pre manufactured steel warehouse solution for the US market, which has now entered the on-site installation phase. This project precisely matches the needs of small and medium-sized warehouses in North America. From design to supporting facilities, it was optimized around three core principles: practicality, durability, and ease of installation. This marks another successful example of Canglong’s expansion into overseas light industrial buildings.
The main structure measures 100×40×16 feet and employs a classic portal frame structure. This is a mainstream choice for prefabricated steel buildings in North America, maximizing the internal column-free space while simplifying installation through streamlined node design. All structural steel is Q355B low-alloy high-strength steel with a yield strength exceeding 355MPa, balancing load-bearing capacity and resistance to wind and snow loads, making it suitable for various climate conditions in the US.

In terms of specific component configuration, beams and columns utilize H-beams, which offer strong cross-sectional stability and can withstand roof and wall loads. The purlins are made of C-shaped steel, with a lightweight design reducing steel consumption, while optimized spacing enhances overall structural rigidity. The enclosure system uses EPS sandwich panels, with wall and roof panels integrally formed, providing thermal insulation performance that meets US building energy efficiency standards, and offering convenient installation and excellent waterproofing. Furthermore, the project includes a full range of accessories such as doors, windows, tie rods, drainage pipes, and gutters, achieving “one-stop delivery” and avoiding the time and costs of fragmented procurement for the client.
Currently, the steel structure components for this warehouse have arrived at the project site in the United States, and construction is proceeding according to the standardized installation guidelines provided by Canglong. Thanks to the precision control and modular design of prefabricated components, the main structure was completed in a short time, significantly shortening the traditional construction period.
