How to process and weld the steel truss structure?
Truss structure is usually used in bridges and long-span gymnasium buildings, with unique shape and exquisite appearance. With the development of the construction industry, people are pursuing more and more beautiful, and most of the steel beams of steel structure plants also use truss structure. Especially in Europe and America, steel structures and truss structures are more widely used.
Processing of steel truss structure
1、 For the processing of large truss steel structure, the assembly and welding of single truss shall be carried out on the ground moulding bed as far as possible, and then hoisted to the column top in place, and then the transverse members between trusses shall be welded.
2、 If the truss span and dead weight exceed the hoisting mechanical capacity, assembly welding is generally carried out on the ground according to the lifting capacity. The temporary bolt fixed connection joints of equipment between sections shall be inspected as qualified by the weld and dimensions of each part after the sectional assembly welding is completed, and then the temporary fixed bolts at the sections shall be disassembled and hoisted to the bench at the installation position section by section for welding of the closure weld.
3、 Whether the truss steel structure is installed on the ground jig frame or high-altitude jig frame, the welding sequence of welding the middle node first and then expanding to the nodes at both ends of the truss shall be followed to avoid dimensional errors between the nodes of the truss and the frame, and the welding shall not be carried out at both ends of the same straight pipe at the same time.
4、 The weld size of steel truss structure shall meet the thickness or weld leg size required by the design, but excessive surfacing shall be avoided.
5、 When the root gap of the weld groove is greater than the standard value (1.5mm), the weld leg size can be increased according to the excessive gap value. When the gap is greater than 5mm, surfacing and grinding methods shall be used to repair the end of the main pipe or surfacing weld bead on the surface of the main pipe at the interface to reduce the weld gap.
